This is a work in progress.


For a period of time the Club maintained a library, first at the Harvard Club and then at the Institute of Geographical Exploration. It may have gone to the Museum of Science. A few of the books with the bookplate are in the Club's Archives.

A List of Harvard Travellers Club Books at the Harvard Club. November 16, 1931.



This letter to Dr. Kennard from Brad Washburn suggests
the Library may have been donated to the Museum of Science.
This is now being researched. May 23, 1962.



HARVARD TRAVELLERS CLUB BOOKPLATE


The bookplate was designed by Erwin Raisz,
a member of the Club and a noted cartographer.
His initials can be seen at the borttom right within the border.
