There are two Buxton Cemeteries in North Smithfield, RI.

The largest and most visible & accessible is #1:

Location: 5 ft southwest of IRONSTONE STREET (ROUTE 146A) at TEL pole # 620 270 ft x 160 ft in good condition enclosed with a stone wall; sign in good condition The cemetery is triangular in shape, and covers an area of 18,460 square feet. Its longest leg (240 ft) running parallel to Route 146A (Ironstone There are 76 burial sites dating from 1809 to 1944.
